How do I activate PHP modules?

We regularly receive requests to install a particular PHP module, however, all our shared hosting packages (end-users & resellers) include CloudLinux in combination with the directadmin control panel.

The advantage of CloudLinux is that you can activate a configuration per account without it applying to everyone on the server.
CloudLinux uses the Select PHP Version option, which can be found in your hosting control panel.

How do I activate PHP modules in DirectAdmin?
Login to the hosting package via DirectAdmin
Under Additional features, click on Select PHP version, as shown in the screenshot below.

Then click the modules to be activated, as you can see in the image below:

In cpanel, you will find this function under Software --> Select PHP Version.
Activating modules is the same as in DirectAdmin.

With just 1 click on the button the module is then activated, and after a few seconds the activated module will be active.
